Obeahon Ohiwerei is a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience. He has held several top executive positions, including Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Bank Limited, Co-Founder/Group Deputy Managing Director of First Ally Capital Limited, and Group Executive Director at Access Bank Plc.

Dr Ohiwerei has also served as the pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Standard Trust Bank Ghana Limited (now United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited), Executive Director of Continental Trust Bank, and General Manager of Standard Trust Bank Nigeria. Additionally, he has worked at Pacific Bank Limited as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, as well as held managerial positions in Equitorial Trust Bank Limited and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

Dr Ohiwerei earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University. He also holds an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from Trinity International University of Ambassadors, USA. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Directors, an Honorary Senior Member (HCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Member of the Bank Directors Association, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), and a Member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
